A California educator publicly called for an employment oath that would exclude teachers who support President Donald Trump.

Nicolle Carney Campbell, previously recognized as Teacher of the Year in Santa Ana Unified School District, made the comments on TikTok on January 27.

• Campbell claimed “MAGA teachers” harm students because of their voting choices.
• She argued teachers should be required to swear an oath that would disqualify those who oppose her political views.
• Her statements included harsh criticism of conservative educators, labeling them as “pathetic” and “selfish.”
