Do You Believe Hillary Clinton’s Description of the LA Anti-ICE Riots as ‘Peaceful Demonstrations’ Is Accurate?
Here’s The Scoop
Hillary Clinton is once again in the spotlight, facing a wave of criticism after her recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, where she described the violent riots in Los Angeles as “peaceful demonstrations.” Clinton’s attempt to pin the blame on former President Donald Trump for the chaos in Southern California has sparked outrage among conservatives and social media users alike.
The popular conservative account Libs of TikTok highlighted Clinton’s decision to restrict comments on her post, suggesting she couldn’t handle the backlash. The account shared footage of the destruction in LA, contrasting it with Clinton’s characterization of the events as “peaceful.”
In her post, Clinton criticized Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to California, claiming it was an unprecedented move not requested by Governor Gavin Newsom. She accused Trump of seeking to create chaos for political gain, a statement that many found to be out of touch with the reality on the ground.
Critics were quick to respond, with many urging Clinton to “shut up” and questioning why she disabled comments—a tactic often associated with those who can’t handle dissenting opinions. John Dennis, chair of the California Republican Liberty Caucus, pointed out that it’s typically leftists who disable comments when faced with criticism.
Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and other social media users called out Clinton for her misleading portrayal of the riots, which included violence against federal law enforcement and widespread looting and destruction. One user even tagged X owner Elon Musk, suggesting that public figures like Clinton shouldn’t be able to lock their replies.
The riots erupted following federal immigration raids in Los Angeles, part of Trump’s commitment to deport illegal immigrants who entered the country during the Biden administration. Despite local leaders like Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Newsom denouncing the raids, the protests quickly turned violent.
In response to the escalating violence, Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard members and later hundreds of U.S. Marines to restore order—actions that were criticized by California officials who filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration.
Trump defended his decision, stating on Truth Social that without military intervention, Los Angeles would be in ruins. He also criticized the state’s handling of previous disasters, like the wildfires that destroyed thousands of homes, highlighting the inefficiency of local government compared to federal efforts.
As the situation continues to unfold, Clinton’s comments have only added fuel to the fire, drawing attention to the stark contrast between her narrative and the reality of the situation.

It’s time to pull the plug on California. Don’t get in the way of their self destruction. They are living the dream that they created themselves.

“Peaceful demonstrators” don’t set cars on fire, don’t loot stores, don’t throw rocks, bottles, & bricks at law enforcement officers. If the situation were turned-around – conservative demonstrators attacking police & rioting in “protest” of Democrats’ actions – the liberals would be screaming for blood!
