Federal authorities have arrested Keith Michael Lisa, 51, of Barnegat, New Jersey, after he allegedly vandalized the office of U.S. Attorney Alina Habba in Newark. Lisa faces multiple federal charges following a successful statewide manhunt that concluded with his arrest over the weekend.
Lisa was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon in a federal facility and depredation of federal property. He appeared in court and remains in detention.
Pam Bondi stated
“No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great U.S. Attorneys or the destruction of their offices.”
Attorney General Habba commended law enforcement’s determination, stressing that intimidation or violence toward law enforcement will never be accepted.
