NYC Socialists Mobilize to Obstruct ICE Enforcement

New York City’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are organizing more than 4,000 activists to launch “rapid response” actions against federal immigration enforcement. Their plan is to mirror disruptive anti-ICE tactics previously seen in Minneapolis and bring them to America’s largest city.

During a recent DSA meeting held at the People’s Forum, a group described as “Chinese Communist Party-linked,” leaders outlined their objective to disrupt Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the city.

• DSA activists and additional volunteers are undergoing organized training to prepare for federal immigration crackdowns.
• The group is seeking multilingual members and has ramped up an ICE hotline to operate 24/7, asking for donations for their efforts.
