Robotaxi Blocks Ambulance in Deadly Shooting

Liberty Check

  • Experimental driverless cars endanger lives by obstructing emergency vehicles during crises.
  • Government approvals prioritize tech giants over public safety and constitutional protections.
  • Border vetting failures amplify threats while robotaxis hinder rapid response.

A Waymo driverless taxi blocked an entire street as an ambulance raced to a mass shooting at Buford’s bar in Austin, Texas.

Senegalese immigrant Ndiaga Diagne, wearing an Iranian flag shirt and “Property of Allah” sweatshirt, killed at least two and wounded over a dozen in the attack under federal terror probe.

Video captured the Waymo positioned perpendicular, blocking the ambulance for nearly two minutes.

A police officer manually drove it away, allowing the ambulance to detour.

“This is why we should not have self-driving cars!” a woman exclaimed.

EMS Chief Robert Luckritz stated the delay had no overall impact, with first responders arriving in 57 seconds.

Officials voiced concerns to Waymo for future prevention.

Past incidents show robotaxis causing jams and ignoring police barricades.

Demand stricter oversight on unproven tech and secure immigration to safeguard American freedoms.

Americans deserve better.
