In a fiery exchange that underscores the ongoing battle over immigration enforcement, former ICE Director Tom Homan has issued a stern warning to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The New York Democrat recently taunted Homan during a town hall meeting, but he’s making it clear that the “tables have now turned.”
Appearing on Laura Ingraham’s show, Homan didn’t mince words. “I take pleasure [that] I can live in her mind rent-free every day, but we all know exactly what she’s doing,” Homan remarked, highlighting Ocasio-Cortez’s attempts to educate illegal immigrants on evading law enforcement. He warned that her actions are now leading people toward prosecution, given the legal implications of defying federal deportation orders.
Homan emphasized the illegality of obstructing ICE operations, urging Ocasio-Cortez to familiarize herself with Title 8, United States Code 1253. It’s clear that Homan is ready to take action, stating, “It is illegal to not comply with that order.”
Ocasio-Cortez, unperturbed, addressed her constituents in Queens, asserting she isn’t intimidated by Homan’s threats. Her office previously hosted a “Know Your Rights” webinar, advising migrants on how to handle encounters with ICE, including asking for warrants and understanding their legal rights.
However, Homan has suggested that such actions could potentially impede ICE’s efforts to enforce the Trump administration’s policies on deportation. He’s vowed to pursue criminal prosecution for anyone obstructing these efforts, declaring, “Game’s over.”
The Trump administration has been vocal about its commitment to removing illegal immigrants, recently touting the arrest of 969 individuals in a single day. Homan’s message is clear: sanctuary cities will face increased enforcement, with a tripling of the workforce dedicated to removing public safety threats.
“We’re going to flood the zone with officers,” Homan stated. “If we can’t arrest them in the jail, we’ll arrest them in the community. If we cannot arrest them in the community, we will arrest them on their work site.”
This clash between Homan and Ocasio-Cortez is a stark reminder of the deep divide over immigration policy, with the Trump administration doubling down on its enforcement measures, determined to uphold the law and ensure public safety.

If AOC and others want to harbor illegals, that’s fine but do it in their homes. Not in hard working neighborhoods that already deal with crime and violence.

Illegals do not have any rights under OUR Constitution it’s OUR Constitution NOT theirs. they are here ILLEGALLY and need to be removed.

Except that, according to the 14th Amendment to OUR Constitution, they DO. Yes, they are here illegally but, unfortunately, they are legally entitled to due process before we can sentence them to removal from the country. I wish it were otherwise but the law is the law, especially when it’s in the plain text of the Constitution. It says, specifically: “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws”. All U.S. territory is within the jurisdiction of the government and you’ll note that it says “person” instead of “citizen” which covers all persons physically present on U.S. soil except those with Diplomatic Immunity or foreign troops stationed in the U.S. who fall under some sort of specific accommodation.

There’s a big difference between educating them on their rights and teaching them how to evade law enforcement: the former is perfectly acceptable while the latter is – by definition – absolutely criminal. She should be prosecuted and imprisoned but before that, she should be removed from Congress!

What is the Slogan “Lock her up”? If she harbors any illegal person US citizen or illegal resident she should be arrested. She should lose her political seat and arrested.
