President Joe Biden said he doesn’t think the U.S. will enter a recession.

“We’re not going to be in a recession, in my view,” Biden said. “The unemployment rate is still one of the lowest we’ve had in history. It’s in the 3.6% area. We still find ourselves with people investing.”

But even CNN doesn’t agree with Biden’s assessment.

Earlier this week, a network panel criticized the White House for trying to move the goalposts and redefine a recession as the upcoming GDP numbers may signal an economic downturn.
