Do You Support Trump’s Plan to Fine California Over Trans Athletes in Girls’ Sports?

Here’s The Scoop

President Donald Trump has taken a strong stance against California’s decision to allow a biological male trans athlete to dominate in girls’ state championships, promising to impose “large-scale fines” on the state. Trump expressed his disapproval on Truth Social, highlighting the defiance of California’s leadership despite his prior warnings.

The controversy erupted after trans athlete AB Hernandez secured top positions in several girls’ track and field events, sparking outrage among those who believe in fair competition for female athletes. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has since adjusted its rules, allowing female athletes who were edged out by Hernandez to receive the recognition they deserved.

California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta, however, remains defiant, criticizing what he describes as the Trump Administration’s “ongoing threats” to the state’s schools. Bonta’s office has pledged to uphold California’s laws that protect transgender students from discrimination, even as the Department of Justice (DOJ) has launched a federal probe into potential Title IX violations by the state.

This issue has struck a chord with many Californians, as a bipartisan survey by the Public Policy Institute of California reveals. A significant majority of the state’s residents, including over 70% of school parents, oppose the participation of biological male trans athletes in women’s sports. They support the notion that athletes should compete on teams corresponding to their birth sex, not their gender identity.

Interestingly, even Governor Gavin Newsom has acknowledged the “deeply unfair” nature of trans athletes competing in girls’ sports, a sentiment he shared on his podcast earlier this year. This growing consensus among Californians and their leaders suggests a shift towards prioritizing fairness and integrity in women’s sports.

As the debate continues, all eyes are on California’s next move in response to the DOJ’s deadline and Trump’s firm stance on protecting the rights of female athletes.

Supporters of transgender athletes have some serious mental health issues. Men of failed sportsmanship should not be allowed to use womens sports as a means to feel good about themselves

Why not have transgender athletes compete with other transgender athletes? To me, that would be the fairest thing to do. Just because they”feel” they are female, doesn’t make it so. They are what they are as God meant them to be.

This nation needs to stop catering to the mentally ill. Get it done, Mr President!
