GSA Delivers Billions in Savings, Slashes Waste
Liberty Check
- Historic $60 billion saved on federal contracts by prioritizing taxpayer interests.
- Real estate downsizing eliminates waste and limits government bloat.
- Federal Acquisition Regulation trimmed by 484 pages, canceling over $500 million in unneeded contracts.
The General Services Administration (GSA) revealed over $60 billion in federal contract savings during President Trump’s first year of his second term.
This was achieved by aggressively managing government assets and cutting unnecessary red tape.
Following an executive order from President Trump ending widespread remote work, the GSA disposed of 90 excess federal properties and reduced the government’s real estate footprint by 3 million square feet, saving taxpayers from $415 million in future expenses.
“Under President Trump’s leadership, we’re delivering on our promise to create a leaner, smarter, and more accountable government.”
GSA Administrator Ed Forst stated.
The American people deserve fiscal responsibility, not unchecked bureaucracy.
Our freedoms depend on staying vigilant.
