Rev. Jesse Jackson, a prominent civil rights figure, has been hospitalized for observation due to progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a rare and incurable neurodegenerative disease. His organization, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, reported that Jackson, now 84, has managed this condition for over a decade.
Originally diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, doctors confirmed his PSP diagnosis in April of last year. The Jackson family has requested prayers as he continues his health fight.
