Should Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Resign Over Accusations of Endangering Children’s Health?
Here’s The Scoop
In a fiery Senate Finance Committee hearing, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. found himself in a heated exchange with Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., who accused Kennedy of endangering children through his policies. This confrontation underscores the ongoing battle between those who prioritize bureaucratic control and those who champion individual freedom and accountability.
Wyden, in a typical left-wing fashion, accused Kennedy of sidelining scientists and doctors in favor of so-called “conspiracy theories” that allegedly dictate national health policy. He questioned Kennedy’s remorse over these decisions, pushing the narrative that Kennedy’s approach is “fundamentally cruel and defies common sense.”
Kennedy, however, did not back down. He fired back at Wyden, highlighting the senator’s long tenure during which chronic diseases among children have skyrocketed to 76%. Kennedy pointed out the recent increase in infant mortality rates, a troubling statistic he attributes to the policies enacted during the Biden administration. This marks a stark contrast to the narrative pushed by the left, which often avoids accountability for these outcomes.
The hearing, led by Committee Chairman Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, saw Crapo stepping in to maintain order and fairness, ensuring that the proceedings adhered to the time limits, despite Wyden’s attempts to dominate the conversation.
Kennedy’s appearance before the committee came on the heels of a letter signed by over 1,000 current and former HHS employees, as well as calls for his resignation from figures like Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. Critics of Kennedy point to his decisive action in firing former CDC director Susan Monarez, a move that some see as necessary to shake up an entrenched bureaucracy resistant to change.
The letter from Kennedy’s critics claims that health policy should be rooted in “evidence-based principles,” yet under his leadership, they argue, HHS policies are allegedly putting Americans’ health at risk. However, Kennedy’s supporters argue that his leadership is a much-needed corrective to years of ineffective and politically motivated health policies that have failed the American people.
As the debate over health policy continues, it is clear that Kennedy’s commitment to challenging the status quo and advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being of all Americans is a stance that resonates with those who value freedom and accountability over bureaucratic inertia.

Who’s attacking RFK says it all about calls for RFK to resign or fired. Never trust a Democrat nor entrenched government bureaucrats to be concerned about our wellbeing.
