Fanatics Fest delivered a viral moment for the ages when two NFL legends teamed up for an unforgettable stunt at Manhattan’s Javits Center. Tom Brady proved his legendary accuracy remains intact, dunking Rob Gronkowski into 500 gallons of Raising Cane’s signature sauce.

The Thursday opening day activation brought together Brady’s pinpoint precision and Gronkowski’s larger-than-life personality in a celebration of American sportsmanship and entrepreneurial success.

Raising Cane’s owner Todd Graves partnered with Fanatics to create the spectacular moment, representing the kind of creative collaboration that makes American business thrive. Before Brady’s toss sent his favorite tight end splashing into the sauce, Fox News Digital spoke with Graves about how this viral sensation came together.

“I never thought of a Cane’s Sauce dunk tank, but partnering with Fanatics and Fanatics Fest, which is great. They’re amazing partners,” Graves explained.

“One, Michael Rubin and I have been friends, and talk about business, help each other out in many different ways. A rising tide lifts all boats.”

The partnership exemplifies how American entrepreneurs work together to create something bigger than themselves. Graves saw the potential immediately when OBB Media CEO Michael Ratner pitched the concept.

“Let’s do a Cane’s Sauce dunk tank. I was like, ‘Yes!’ And he was like, ‘Let’s do Brady dunking Gronk.’ Oh my God, I couldn’t think of two better people doing it,” Graves recalled.

The moment represented a milestone for a brand that started with humble beginnings in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 28, 1996. Thirty years later, Raising Cane’s employs 100,000 crew members across 1,000 locations — a testament to American entrepreneurial spirit and hard work.

“The crews are already so excited about it. The fans will love it. What better guy like Gronk, and to have Brady hit the target. It’s ideal,” Graves said.

Brady and Gronkowski warmed up the crowd with a chicken Hail Mary moment, the quarterback tossing Cane’s chicken fingers into a cup of sauce the tight end held. But the main event was still to come.

In classic Gronkowski fashion, he chirped Brady from his seat while the FOX Sports colleagues prepared for what everyone knew was inevitable. Brady toyed with his former teammate at first, deliberately hitting Cane’s logos just above the target twice.

Then, on his third throw, Brady struck true. All 6-foot-6, 265 pounds of Gronkowski caused a Cane’s Sauce explosion when he plunged in.

There was a splash zone for those close enough, and witnesses couldn’t stop talking about the epic moment. As Gronkowski wiped sauce from his eyes and Brady recovered from his laughter, Graves thanked them both for creating an unforgettable memory.

“Through growth, I have 100,000 crew members now, and we have 1,000 locations and we’re about to turn 30. For me to walk in here and see our logos up here and see people that want to come and be a part of Cane’s, it’s a dream come true,” Graves said.

“To do a dunk tank, and Tom Brady and Gronk want to do that, I built a brand that’s special to my crew and customers. So, an absolute dream. I always have to pinch myself and part of my job is doing things like this, which is great.”

The collaboration showcased what happens when American business leaders, sports legends, and innovative thinking come together. From a single restaurant in Louisiana to a national brand celebrating with two of football’s greatest players, Raising Cane’s embodies the success possible in a free market economy.

“We love what we do. I love my company, I love my crew and customers. This is just something I think we can do some fun for them, because I know how much I’m going to enjoy it,” Graves concluded.

The Constitution must be defended.
