Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made her pregame tunnel walk Thursday a promotional moment, arriving at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with her first signature shoe in hand. The guard smiled for cameras while sporting a hoodie emblazoned with “Shoot more threes.”

The Fever posted photos and video from Clark’s tunnel walk on verified team social media accounts before tipoff against the Atlanta Dream. The content quickly generated tens of thousands of views.

Nike unveiled the Caitlin 1 sneakers to women’s basketball fans Wednesday, announcing an October release date. The first colorway features an all-blue design incorporating Clark’s new signature logo.

The Nike Caitlin 1s launch October 1 through the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers. North American customers will pay $140, while international buyers should expect roughly $135.

With the official Caitlin 1 reveal, Clark joins an exclusive group. Only four other active WNBA players have signature shoes from major brands: Angel Reese with Reebok, Breanna Stewart with Puma, Sabrina Ionescu with Nike, and A’ja Wilson with Nike.

Clark and Indiana entered Thursday’s matchup riding a five-game winning streak. The Dream ended that run with a 108-101 victory in Indianapolis.

Clark posted a team-high 26 points and seven assists in the loss. Reese led Atlanta with 21 points and 10 rebounds to secure a double-double.

The signature shoe deal represents a significant commercial achievement for Clark, who continues building her brand through on-court performance. The free market rewards excellence, and Clark’s work ethic has earned her a place among the sport’s most marketable athletes.

Americans deserve better role models like this—athletes who earn their success through talent and dedication.
