Do You Believe Homeschooling Provides a Better Education Than Public Schooling?
Here’s the Scoop
As debates around education intensify, some conservatives promote homeschooling as a potential alternative to the perceived liberal bias in public schools.
“Many politically powerful conservatives promote home-schooling as a way to undercut or weaken the influence of public schools, and to shield their children from the liberalism they believe public schools foster,” Slate reported in June 2022.

it is a win win thing. the Parents learn a lot of stuff, along with the child.

The public schools don’t really teach reading, writing, and arithmetic anymore, they now indoctrinate our children and fill their heads with hate.

Depends on who’s doing it. In a conservatize household I’d say yes but in a liberal household I’d say nothing would change.

I agree with Don, depends on who is doing it. A great parent teacher kids do very well I have seen it several times in very disciplined homes. Much the opposite with a lazy parent kids on break so day aka recess . So depends just like public schools higher tax bracket area meaning more money in the district better education than lower income tax bracket less funds in the schools . Sad but true

As a retired teacher, I can confirm. When I taught in a tutoring center, we saw this SO many times. Kids would come to us to be tested, and would be 3-4 grade levels behind on their reading and math skills. It cost the parents a lot of money to try and get the kids caught up, and those were the lucky kids who got our services. Homeschooling can be done right, but it is difficult, and too many parents don’t really know how to do it. Kids pay the price.

My educated daughter and her PHD husband home schooled their children and, when tested, the ones who are ready to leave the home tested above the level expectations for children in the public schools. Now, they are excellent students and have gotten scholarships.

Any parent that is willing to make the commitment and time wants the very best for their child. Many of these kids will learn at a very accelerated rate leaving time for educational trips to museums and other activities further enhancing their education. Furthermore they are not being indoctrinated about false racial issues and sexual substances that are not age appropriate and confusing. These kids will be tomorrow’s leaders. How do I know? My sister homeschooled all 3 of hers and they have all been incredibly successful.
