Leon Slater steps into the ring at Bound for Glory this Sunday with the TNA World Championship on the line against Nic Nemeth. The British competitor stands poised to etch his name in history as the youngest champion ever at just twenty-two years old.

Bound for Glory represents TNA’s premier showcase where legends are forged and new legacies are born. Slater has already secured two reigns as X Division Champion and nearly held the longest reign in company history before Cedric Alexander ended that run earlier this year.

“Nic, let’s get one thing clear – that rule isn’t saving me. That rule is saving you,” Slater declared on Impact. “Because in a couple of days at Bound for Glory, when I finally get to beat your a— and take that title, you are going to realize exactly why they call me ‘The Youngest In Charge.’”

Slater’s path to this moment came through grit and determination after trading his X Division title for a world title opportunity via Option C. The young star has already defeated Alexander in a brutal Last Man Standing steel cage match at Slammiversary, proving his resilience.

Current champion Nic Nemeth enters the bout in the middle of his second reign after defeating Mike Santana at Slammiversary. The veteran has experience on his side but faces a hungry challenger who has already achieved more in two years than many wrestlers accomplish in a decade.

The stakes remain simple: Slater seeks to join the ranks of TNA greats like Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Moose and Jeff Hardy. Nemeth aims to extend his championship reign and deny the young star his moment in the spotlight.

Bound for Glory takes place at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida with the action beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET on TNA+.
