Radical Socialist Takeover Has Democrats in PANIC Over What Voters Will See
Liberty Check
- Anti-American socialists are hijacking the Democrat Party with extreme views that reject capitalism, support terrorism, and openly despise Israel and the United States.
- These radical candidates celebrate barbaric attacks, call for abolishing police and borders, and blame America for 9/11—positions that disgust mainstream voters.
- Moderate Democrats are scrambling to distance themselves, but it may be too late: the socialist takeover is a gift to Republicans ahead of critical elections.
Socialism used to be political poison in America. It represented a rejection of the free-market system that built this nation into a global superpower—a philosophy that went against everything the Founders envisioned.
But now, socialists are surging through Democratic primaries. And they’re not hiding their contempt for the country that gave them their platform.
Leading this radical charge is Zohran Mamdani and his Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidates, who are dragging the party so far left that even some liberal commentators are sounding the alarm. These aren’t your grandfather’s Democrats—these are open borders, defund-the-police, Israel-hating radicals who think America deserved 9/11.
Yes, you read that right.
Jonah Goldberg, editor-in-chief of the Dispatch, didn’t mince words:
“The Democratic Party lets DSA candidates run as Democrats, even though the DSA is ideologically committed to a hostile takeover of the party. What it is is a fifth column within the Democratic Party. There is no sensible, informed Democrat who thinks these people are good for their party.”
President Trump immediately called them out, labeling three far-left congressional candidates pushed by Mamdani as “Communists.” He escalated further, warning Americans about their dangerous ideology:
“Assassination is a big deal for them. They are animals… They will kill your people. And that’s what they’re about.”
The new socialist candidates aren’t just anti-Israel—they’re openly pro-Palestine, even in New York City, home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel. Mamdani himself has used the phrase “from the river to the sea,” a call to wipe Israel off the map.
Their most shocking figure is Darializa Avila Chevalier, a community organizer who supports defunding police, abolishing borders, eliminating ICE, seizing private property, and nationalizing major industries. The day after Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,200 Israelis on October 7th and took hostages, Chevalier attended a pro-Palestinian rally in Times Square—celebrating a horrifying terrorist assault.
She’s also called Joe Biden a “rapist” and attacked Kamala Harris with profanity-laced insults. These aren’t old tweets from her teenage years—some were posted as recently as 2022.
And she’s not alone in her extremism.
Aber Kawas, a Democratic nominee for New York state Senate, actually said America deserved the 9/11 attacks:
“The idea that we have to apologize for, like, a terror attack that, like, a couple people did, and then there’s no apologies or reparations for genocides and for slavery, et cetera, is something that I kind of find, like, reprehensible.”
Out west, Melat Kiros, a socialist running in Colorado, was asked about a firebombing attack on peaceful protesters supporting Jewish hostages held by Hamas. Her response?
“I don’t know what was in the heart of the perpetrator.”
She couldn’t even condemn a violent attack on Jews. That’s where the Democrat Party is today.
Chris Rabb, a Pennsylvania state rep and Democratic nominee for Congress, blamed a massacre of Australian Jews on “Zionists.” Adam Hamawy, a former Army doctor now running for Congress in New Jersey, worked with Omar Abdel-Rahman—the “blind sheikh” convicted in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing—and even testified on his behalf.
Another Mamdani-backed winner, Claire Valdez, wants to abolish ICE and claims “detention and deportation have been used as a weapon, not just against immigrants, but against the entire working class.”
These aren’t fringe voices relegated to obscure blogs. These are Democrat nominees for Congress and state offices across the country.
A small group of moderate Democrats is trying to fight back. New York Rep. Tom Suozzi has rallied 12 other lawmakers under the banner “Promise to America,” declaring themselves champions of capitalism, police, and patriotism.
“We disagree with MAGA. We disagree with socialism. We believe the vast majority of America wants common-sense, mainstream leadership, not political extremism.”
Suozzi told Fox News Digital he’s drawing a clear line:
“I’m a capitalist, not a socialist… I’m not ashamed of America.”
Even James Carville, the legendary Democrat strategist, couldn’t contain his rage. In an X-rated rant about Chevalier, he exploded:
“Lady, I ain’t in the same party as you… I don’t want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist. I just can’t do that.”
But Suozzi’s group is small and has little influence. The socialist takeover is real, and it’s happening fast.
Republicans couldn’t ask for a better gift heading into the next election cycle. While Democrats once successfully painted the GOP as extremists, they now own candidates who celebrate terrorism, blame America for 9/11, want to abolish law enforcement, and openly hate the country they seek to represent.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer. On one side: socialists who despise America, Israel, capitalism, and borders. On the other: Americans who love their country, support law and order, defend our allies, and believe in freedom and opportunity.
Even if only a handful of these radicals win office, they will define the Democrat brand for years to come. Voters will remember who celebrated Hamas. Who said America deserved 9/11. Who wants to eliminate the police and open the borders.
The Constitution must be defended.
