  • Iranian diplomats removed after overstaying their U.N. welcome in New York
  • Low-level talks collapse as Rubio enforces stricter national security measures

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has drawn a hard line against Iranian operatives operating on American soil. The move came after the diplomats refused to cooperate during discussions that ultimately went nowhere.

According to reports, Rubio personally ordered the expulsion following stalled negotiations connected to last week’s U.N. General Assembly. The diplomats had been in New York City and were told their time was up.

“They overstayed their welcome,” a senior administration official stated flatly.

The decision reflects a broader shift in foreign policy under the current administration. It signals that the United States will no longer tolerate extended stays by representatives from hostile regimes without clear diplomatic value.

“This is about protecting our national interests and enforcing the rules,” another official added.

Americans deserve better.
