Willie and Korie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” stand resilient after 33 years of marriage, valuing commitment over perfection. Their lasting union demonstrates the importance of dedication, perseverance, and their Christian faith as pillars for a strong family.
“I’ve always said … Try to give more than you take.”
Willie explained that genuine success in marriage and family requires prioritizing others and staying steadfast during challenges. He believes leaning on each other is essential to navigating life’s uncertainties.
His wife, Korie, believes consistency is crucial, and she takes pride in showing up for their relationship every day. She stresses the need to turn back to each other, warning that couples risk drifting apart unless they are intentional.
“Our faith has been a huge part of that, in our commitment to God. It fuels our commitment to one another.”
Korie credits their faith as the force behind their commitment, even as they celebrate blessings like eight grandchildren and professional successes. She acknowledges that their journey was not a perfect path but is proud that perseverance kept their family united.
“We can look back and be like, ‘God, thank you for all the things you brought us through,’ because you brought us right here.”
The Robertsons find that maintaining joy and fun is vital, alongside staying rooted in faith. The newest season of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” highlights their family’s heritage and the foundational values established by Phil Robertson, the family patriarch.
Korie hopes the courage and transformation inspired by Phil’s commitment to faith will be passed down for generations to come.
“Just in passing down that legacy — one of the things that we’ve just been reminded of over and over again is just this man who lived down on the river, didn’t own a cell phone or a computer — what God did with his life. Because he was just truly passionately sold out for Jesus.”
The couple proudly affirms their open and unwavering faith, encouraging others to seek a full and transformed life. Willie recognizes Phil’s life as critical to their own story, crediting the family’s unity and success to his father-in-law’s dramatic change in purpose.
“And a changed life,” Willie added. “There would never have been a ‘Duck Dynasty’ show. There wouldn’t have been company had his life not changed. This family would not have stayed together.”
Phil Robertson, beloved founder of Duck Commander and the show’s guiding light, passed away at 79 after a lengthy battle with health issues, leaving a lasting legacy of faith and family.
The season finale of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” airs Sunday, Aug. 3 on A&E Network. Constitutional conservatives know that strong families and faith remain the backbone of our free nation—principles the Robertsons continue to celebrate.
Our freedoms depend on staying vigilant.
