UN Ambassador Mike Waltz shut down NBC’s Kristen Welker, asserting President Trump is concluding the war Iran launched against America in 1979.
Welker pressed on Trump’s military actions, but Waltz countered that Iranian proxies like Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis killed over 600 U.S. soldiers since the Islamic Revolution.
Welker grilled Waltz on semantics after airing Trump clips calling actions a “war.”
“Well, I describe it as Iran has been at war with us, as I just said,” Waltz replied.
“President Trump is ending it,” he added.
