In a move that has certainly captured the attention of many, former President Donald Trump has granted a full pardon to Todd and Julie Chrisley, allowing them to make a much-anticipated return to reality television. The Chrisleys, known for their vibrant personalities on “Chrisley Knows Best,” were behind bars for bank fraud and tax evasion, but thanks to Trump’s intervention, they are now free to rejoin their family and the spotlight.
The Lifetime network had already greenlit a new docuseries, “The Untitled Chrisleys Project,” before Todd and Julie’s release. The show, which is set to premiere later this year, will focus on how the Chrisley family, including Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Chloe, and Nanny Faye, have coped with the challenges during Todd and Julie’s incarceration. Originally, the couple was not expected to appear on the show due to their prison sentences, but Trump’s pardon has changed the game.
Savannah Chrisley, visibly emotional and grateful, confirmed to reporters outside the Pensacola, Florida federal prison that fans can expect to see the family’s journey unfold on camera. “We have a new show coming out on Lifetime, and it will document all of these things,” she said, attributing their good fortune to “all God and President Trump.”
The Chrisley children have faced the daunting task of maintaining the family’s legacy with only limited contact with their parents. Savannah, who took custody of her younger siblings Chloe and Grayson, had been a vocal advocate for her parents’ pardon, demonstrating the family’s resilience and unity.
The Chrisleys were convicted in 2022 for defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans and tax evasion. Despite these charges, Trump’s pardon effectively wipes the slate clean for Todd and Julie, allowing them to move forward without the shadow of their legal troubles.
Julie was spotted in Nashville, Tennessee, just a day after her release, looking upbeat and sporting her natural hair color. Meanwhile, Todd walked out of the Pensacola federal prison, ready to reunite with his family and fans.
Savannah shared her joy on social media, posting a video of their road trip back to Tennessee, where fans caught a glimpse of Todd’s post-prison physique. The family’s journey back to normalcy and the spotlight promises to be a compelling watch for their audience.
The Chrisleys rose to fame with “Chrisley Knows Best,” a reality series that debuted in 2014, capturing viewers with its humor, family drama, and Todd’s bold persona. Now, with a new chapter beginning, the Chrisleys are poised to once again capture the hearts of their fans, thanks in large part to President Trump’s decisive action.

I was surprised by our President, allowing full Pardon to the Family. After thinking about it I wonder whether they repaid the theft? If so, I can totally understand that they are in show business and probably cannot do anything else to survive with their family. Go for it. You know no one wants them on the USG unemployment and other perks. They are Americans with minor children and need to do what they know how to do to make money.

So-called “Reality TV” ought to be abolished, altogether! Together with “Social Media Influencers” they are an indicator of just how decrepit & useless our society has become.
