Do You Believe ABC’s Coverage Displays Bias Against Trump and Pence?

Here’s The Scoop

In a classic display of media bias, former President Donald Trump took a moment to highlight the ongoing struggle conservatives face with mainstream media outlets during a recent event. With his signature wit, Trump sarcastically referred to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos as “George Slopadopoulos,” poking fun at the media personality’s approach to interviewing conservatives.

Trump didn’t hold back as he recalled a past legal victory over ABC, joking about the $16 million settlement he received. “He was nice enough to pay me $16 million the last time we came — he had to pay $16 million to me. Which is good. It was worth it,” Trump quipped, emphasizing the value of standing up to media falsehoods.

The former president also defended Vice President JD Vance, who recently found himself in the crosshairs of Stephanopoulos during a tense interview. Trump criticized the Disney-owned network for its treatment of Vance, stating, “JD had a very nasty person interviewing him, and we can’t let that happen.”

The interview in question saw Stephanopoulos aggressively pressing Vance on allegations against border czar Tom Homan, accusing him of accepting a bribe. Vance, however, stood his ground, denying any wrongdoing by Homan and calling out Stephanopoulos for losing credibility. “There’s no evidence of that,” Vance asserted, highlighting the media’s penchant for focusing on narratives that undermine conservative figures.

Vance’s frustration was palpable as he pointed out the media’s skewed priorities, saying, “Peace in the Middle East? China threatening critical supply chains? Government shutdown? George S doesn’t care about that. He’s here to focus on the real story: a fake scandal involving Tom Homan.”

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the bias conservatives face in the media landscape. It’s clear that the battle for fair representation in the press is far from over, and figures like Trump and Vance are leading the charge in demanding accountability and truth from mainstream outlets.
