Border Czar Tom Homan is firing back at religious leaders following criticism of President Trump’s robust border enforcement policies. Homan argues that critics in the Vatican have no understanding of the violent atrocities and human suffering occurring on the ground.
Reports indicate previous administrations funneled hundreds of millions of tax dollars to religious organizations for resettlement efforts. The Trump administration’s decision to cut this funding appears to be a primary driver of the recent clerical pushback.
Homan, a lifelong Catholic with forty years of enforcement experience, challenged the Pope and bishops to acknowledge the true victims of open borders. He highlighted the horrific reality of children being exploited and lives lost in the desert due to lawless policies.
“I’m a lifelong Catholic. I wish they’d STAY OUT of immigration, they don’t know what they’re talking about.”
“If they understood the atrocities that happen on the open border, I think their opinion would change,” Homan added. He emphasized that secure borders actually save lives by putting human traffickers and cartels out of business.
True compassion requires the enforcement of law to protect both citizens and those being trafficked by criminal organizations. Our nation must prioritize the safety of the American people over the political agendas of globalist leaders.
