One week after tying the knot at Madison Square Garden, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out for their first public appearance as newlyweds. The power couple was spotted at the wedding of Kelce’s former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Laura Kruk.

Swift wore a strapless floor-length gown featuring floral brocade designs paired with her signature red lip. Kelce kept it classic in a tailored suit and tie.

During the ceremony, the newlyweds sat alongside Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. The appearance marks their first outing since their star-studded nuptials captivated the entertainment world.

Details about their wedding have continued to emerge in the days following the event. In a since-deleted post, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron provided an extensive account of the ceremony.

“It did not look like Madison Square Garden,” Aron wrote.

“Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceilings… was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”

He described how organizers transformed a small section of MSG into something unrecognizable. “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space,” he explained.

“Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat. Everything draped off this time in green and white. Real flowers and I think artificial trees welcomed fifteen rows of maybe 75 or so chairs.”

Despite approximately one thousand attendees, Aron noted the atmosphere felt surprisingly intimate. “They say there were around one thousand attendees, but surprisingly, it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close.”

The ceremony featured relaxing romantic music before violins and a cello ushered in the wedding party. Kelce wore a white tux while Swift appeared in what Aron described as “a stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train.”

Adam Sandler served as officiant, though Aron didn’t name him directly. He said the officiant “talked and sang” and was “warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent.”

“Then the vows,” Aron continued.

“Long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce’s and Swift’s) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together.”

He characterized their first kiss as a “sweep you off your feet kiss” and said their “profound love” was evident throughout. The reception continued the garden theme with what Aron called “superb food and drink” and abundant live music.

“I wish you all could have been there with me, to witness real, pure, true joy,” he told followers.

According to Swift’s representative, both wore custom looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture in close collaboration with the couple. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift accessorized with Cartier jewelry.

Rather than a traditional bridal party, Swift’s brother Austin served as her “Man of Honor,” while Jason Kelce acted as best man. Jason and Kylie Kelce’s four daughters reportedly served as flower girls.

At the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Kylie Kelce described the wedding as “incredible.”

Americans deserve better.
