The Haas Factory Team has revealed a stunning patriotic paint scheme honoring the late President George H.W. Bush, set to compete in a groundbreaking NASCAR race that perfectly captures the spirit of service and sacrifice.

The tribute car will make its debut at Fort Liberty in North Carolina, marking the first time in NASCAR history that a race will be held on an active military installation. The timing couldn’t be more appropriate given Bush’s extraordinary military service record.

President Bush enlisted in the Navy on his 18th birthday in 1942, becoming the youngest naval aviator in U.S. history at the time. He flew 58 combat missions during World War II and was shot down by Japanese anti-aircraft fire over the Pacific, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism.
