The Seattle Storm entered Tuesday night’s home game struggling mightily at Climate Pledge Arena, carrying a dismal 4-10 record on their own court. That trend showed no signs of reversing as the visiting Indiana Fever dominated in a 103-95 road victory.

Caitlin Clark led the Fever with a team-high 32 points in an electrifying performance that showcased why she’s become one of the league’s brightest stars. Natisha Hiedeman paced all scorers with 33 for Seattle in the losing effort.

Clark’s backcourt partner Kelsey Mitchell also delivered a stellar shooting night, connecting on 9 of 18 attempts from the field to finish with 28 points. The dynamic duo proved too much for the struggling Storm to handle.

Indiana exploded out of the gates, building a commanding 17-point advantage after the opening quarter. Seattle attempted to mount a comeback after halftime, trimming the deficit to just four points heading into the final period.

But the Storm’s rally stalled in the fourth quarter as Indiana closed out the victory, improving to an impressive 18-10 on the season. The win completed a season-series sweep for the Fever over Seattle.

The game wasn’t without concern for Indiana, as star center Aliyah Boston exited early with an apparent knee injury after landing awkwardly on the court. Boston set a screen in the second quarter and rolled toward the basket before getting tangled with Flau’jae Johnson.

Boston landed hard and immediately grabbed her right knee as officials whistled a foul. She was helped off the floor by training staff and later ruled out after initially being listed as questionable to return.

The severity of Boston’s injury remains unclear, but her absence would be a significant blow to the Fever’s playoff aspirations. The team will hope for positive news as they continue their West Coast road trip.

Indiana’s journey out West continues Friday with a matchup against the Portland Fire. The Fever will look to maintain their winning momentum while monitoring Boston’s status.
