The creators of ICEBlock, an app that crowd-sources locations of ICE agents, have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration.
They allege that the Department of Justice infringed on their First Amendment rights by pressuring Apple to remove the app from its store.

The company stated.
“Apple has claimed they received information from law enforcement that ICEBlock served to harm law enforcement officers. This is patently false.”

The whole premise of ICEblock is to interfere in law enforcement investigations and actions which is illegal in itself and therefore illegal.
