Palestinian Authority Shifts Terror Payouts, Defies Reform
Liberty Check
- Despite supposed reforms, over $200 million flowed to terrorists in 2025.
- The PA used covert channels, including post offices and encrypted apps, to distribute these funds.
- This subverts both U.S. law and peace initiatives mandating an end to pay-for-terrorism schemes.
The State Department has revealed that the Palestinian Authority disbursed over $200 million to terrorists and their families in 2025, even after it was claimed the notorious ‘pay-to-slay’ program was ended. Evidence points to a revamped payment approach rather than a true policy change.
PA President Mahmoud Abbas ordered the conclusion of the controversial policy last year, yet funds continued to flow under a supposedly reformed welfare program. The new mechanism simply redirected payments through the Palestinian National Foundation for Economic Empowerment, all under the guise of social welfare.
The U.S. Taylor Force Act blocks aid to the PA until these payments officially end, but the administration has exposed the ongoing compensation scheme. Americans must stay alert to foreign funding systems that undermine our interests and the fight against terror.
Our freedoms depend on staying vigilant.
