President Donald Trump confirmed the Fort Hood terrorist will face a firing squad execution without a livestream broadcast. The decision follows the 2009 attack that killed 14 people, including the unborn child of a soldier, and wounded dozens more at the Texas military base.

The administration cited concerns that many decent Americans would rather not witness the graphic death of a convicted killer. Trump emphasized that the execution will proceed as scheduled, but without turning it into public entertainment.

“Many very good and well meaning people would rather not watch him die,” the president stated.

The move aligns with long-standing conservative principles that justice for acts of terror against American service members must be carried out firmly and without unnecessary spectacle. Officials stressed that the absence of a livestream does not diminish the severity of the punishment or the finality of the sentence.

“Americans deserve better.”
