The letter calls for subpoenas and hearings to determine whether family connections to the White House were used for private financial gain. Curtis argues that such scrutiny should apply equally regardless of which party holds the presidency.

“We must ensure that no one is above the law and that family ties to the Oval Office are not exploited for personal enrichment,” Curtis wrote in the letter.

“We have seen repeated instances where presidential relatives have benefited from access and influence,” Curtis continued. “The American people deserve answers about how these relationships operate behind closed doors.”
