SHOCKING: Socialist NYC Mayor Grants Secret Access to Radical Online Army

Liberty Check

  • Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani has granted approximately 200 left-wing social media influencers privileged access to encrypted City Hall communications
  • The New York City mayor is using the secure messaging app Signal to bypass traditional press channels and feed content directly to progressive online activists
  • This unprecedented move raises serious questions about transparency, government accountability, and the weaponization of taxpayer-funded resources for political propaganda

New York City’s Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani is running an operation that should alarm every taxpayer who values transparent government. According to new reporting, Mamdani has hand-selected roughly 200 social media influencers and given them exclusive access to City Hall news and videos through Signal, an encrypted messaging platform.

This isn’t normal government communication — it’s a coordinated propaganda network.

While traditional journalists operate under ethical guidelines and press standards, these handpicked influencers face no such constraints. They receive curated content directly from the mayor’s office, creating a one-way pipeline of socialist messaging straight to their followers without the filter of objective reporting or public scrutiny.

The use of Signal, an app specifically designed for encrypted, disappearing messages, adds another troubling layer. Why does a public official need to communicate with media figures through a platform that leaves no paper trail? What happened to transparency and accountability in government?

This setup allows Mamdani to control the narrative completely. He can distribute talking points, frame stories, and shape public perception without the inconvenience of tough questions or fact-checking. It’s the digital equivalent of state-run media, except it’s disguised as organic social media content.

The influencers in this exclusive club aren’t identified as government messengers. Their followers likely have no idea they’re consuming content that’s been packaged and delivered by City Hall itself. That’s not journalism — it’s propaganda with a trendy filter.

For a self-proclaimed socialist who talks endlessly about equity and fairness, Mamdani seems perfectly comfortable creating an insider class of preferred media voices. Regular New Yorkers and credentialed journalists don’t get this access, but progressive TikTokers and Instagram activists do.

This arrangement also raises legal and ethical questions. Are these influencers being compensated in any way? Are they disclosing their relationship with the mayor’s office to their audiences? Is taxpayer money or city resources being used to support this operation?

The American people have a right to know how their elected officials communicate with the press and the public. Secret chat groups on encrypted apps are the opposite of open government. They’re the tools of regimes that fear scrutiny and accountability.

New York City deserves better than a mayor who treats City Hall like a socialist propaganda bureau. Transparency isn’t just a talking point — it’s the foundation of democratic governance.

The Constitution must be defended.
