The Senate delivered a clear rebuke to a Democrat-led resolution that sought to launch a one-sided probe into alleged settler violence in Israel.

The measure, pushed by far-left lawmakers, aimed to pressure the Jewish state while downplaying the wave of Palestinian terror attacks that have killed and maimed civilians.

Republican leaders condemned the resolution as yet another attempt to undermine an essential democratic ally in the Middle East.

“This resolution is not about peace or justice,” said one senior GOP senator. “It is about appeasing anti-Israel radicals who want to weaken our strongest partner in the region.”
