  • President Trump highlighted record investments and jobs in Ohio as proof that his tariff and trade policies work.
  • The president urged voters to treat the midterms like his own race, stressing that GOP control means protecting constitutional economic freedoms.
  • Trump pledged to sign the Ratepayer Protection Act to shield families from higher electricity costs tied to data centers.

President Trump rallied supporters in Ohio Saturday night, declaring a new “golden age” for America and pressing voters to deliver Republican wins in the upcoming midterms.

The president pointed to major investments and new jobs across the Buckeye State as direct results of his trade agenda.

“Just pretend that I’m running,” Trump told the crowd. “When I run, we win.”

“If you don’t mind, please pretend that I’m on the ballot,” he added. “And you need to turn out for a midterm victory.”

Trump credited a $400 million Stellantis investment in Toledo and an $850 million Electra aerospace project near Springfield to his tariff policies.

The president also spotlighted Bayer’s planned $2.2 billion pharmaceutical campus near Columbus, which will create hundreds of permanent jobs.

“Your state is booming,” Trump said. “Every state is booming.”

Trump threw his full support behind the Ratepayer Protection Act, promising to sign it immediately to block extra electricity costs for Ohio families.

“We want them,” Trump said of data centers. “There’s so much money to be made for Ohio. You can’t just turn them off. They’ll go to China.”

The president contrasted the current economic surge with the failures of the previous administration, declaring the nation is stronger than ever.

Trump also renewed his call for no taxes on tips or overtime and floated $5,000 payments to American adults if Republicans hold Congress.

Turning to immigration, the president dedicated his reading of “The Snake” to Springfield, Ohio, and hailed his administration’s crackdown at the southern border.

“I dedicate this to Springfield, Ohio,” Trump said. “They went through hell.”

The president also touched on Venezuela, noting that American energy resources have more than offset the cost of operations there.

Trump closed by urging voters to back Sen. Jon Husted and gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, promising Ohio serious consideration for the new U.S. National Space Academy if Republicans win.

Our freedoms depend on staying vigilant.
