Senator Mark Kelly acknowledged on CNN that President Trump deserves significant credit for securing the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
Kelly highlighted Trump’s pivotal role, emphasizing the effort put into negotiating an agreement that aims to bring peace to Gaza and facilitate hostage releases.
Kelly stated on air.
“I think he should get a lot of credit. I mean, this was his deal.”
He praised the deployment of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to negotiate terms, which has led to movement on hostage releases and possible regional rebuilding efforts.
Kelly voiced hope that surrounding nations would follow through to aid Gaza’s recovery, noting the devastating destruction inflicted on the region.
