DOJ Targets Dirty Voter Rolls, Demands Accountability
Liberty Check
Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet J. Dhillon asserts election mismanagement in Democrat-controlled states is deliberate, not accidental. The Justice Department is advancing efforts to compel over half of U.S. states to finally clean up their voter rolls and restore confidence in America’s elections.
- DOJ has sued six Democrat-run states to access and review their voter rolls for unlawful entries.
- North Carolina was forced to address more than 100,000 improper voter registrations after a DOJ settlement.
- At least 26 states will now be required to ensure their voter lists are lawfully maintained through lawsuits, settlements, or voluntary cooperation.
“The sloppiness of the elections in blue states is no accident. It is on purpose. It is a feature, not a bug.”
Dhillon highlights the existence of deceased individuals, non-citizens, and duplicate entries on rolls, which endanger election integrity and diminish Americans’ trust.
Clean voter rolls are fundamental for fair elections, and federal law obligates every state to uphold this standard. Biased practices and lack of transparency cannot be tolerated when Americans’ political voice is at stake.
