Is Nikki Haley’s Bid to Beat Trump for Nomination Over?

Here’s The Scoop

Is Nikki Haley’s bid to beat Trump for the nomination over? Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel seems to think so.

After Trump’s double-digit victory in New Hampshire, McDaniel stated there is no path forward for the former U.N. Ambassador to secure the party’s presidential nomination.

During a post-primary interview, McDaniel highlighted the historic nature of Trump’s win: “We have never had a nominee in our party that has won without winning either Iowa or New Hampshire. Donald Trump is the first ever to win both.”

She went on to say, “I don’t see it for Nikki Haley. I think she’s run a great campaign. But I do think there is a message that’s coming out from the voters, which is very clear, we need to unite around our eventual nominee, which is going to be Donald Trump and we need to make sure we beat Joe Biden.”

McDaniel emphasized the urgency of uniting the party to defeat Biden, citing his disastrous policies on border security, fentanyl, and inflation:

“It is ten months away till the November election, and we can’t wait any longer to put our foot on the gas to beat the worst president.”

She also made it clear that this message is coming from the voters, not the establishment.

McDaniel urged the Haley campaign to reflect on their position, stating, “I just don’t see the path and the math. I hope she reflects tonight. I think it’s time to move forward and I think Donald Trump is going to be the nominee.”

I consider myself to be a far right conservative but the Republicans are trying to create a blue wave this November. Two words are creating that: Trump and anti-abortion. Neither Trump or Biden are good for the country. I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 but I will not vote for Trump this year.

Trump may win the nomination, but he will be wearing orange when he does!

Old Man -To whom are you addressing your post. It is very disconcerting when someone posts something but does not direct their rebuttal to whom they are addressing. Who would be wearing egg on their face and why.

Haley is a “big government” globalist. Need a President who will work for liberty and freedom from Big Brother and self-responsibility without the thousands of taxpayer employees and all the government imposed mandates. Trump is definitely the best choice.

I will never vote for a woman in a presidential race. As awful a choice as I believe Trump to be, if Haley were to win the nomination I might have to vote for Shaky Joe. ‘Though if Trump wins I might have to write-in Pat Paulson – he’s been dead for decades but he’d STILL make a better President than Donald Trump!
