  • Law enforcement must ensure swift and absolute justice for the most vulnerable members of our society.
  • Corporate liability and contractor vetting processes remain under fire as families demand accountability for safety failures.
  • The moral decay evidenced by such remorseless acts underscores the necessity of a firm and uncompromising judicial system.

A former FedEx driver has pleaded guilty to the kidnapping and murder of 7-year-old Athena Strand in Paradise, Texas.

The defense is now trying to blame the perpetrator’s violence on mental illness and brain damage to avoid the death penalty.

Prosecutors describe the killer as a calculating individual who threatened the young girl into silence before carrying out a prolonged and violent attack.

Evidence presented to jurors reveals that the assailant continued his delivery route as if nothing had happened while the community searched for the missing child.

“I’m going to tell you right now. One thing you’re going to hear that is something you can’t unhear is the level of fight that a 7-year-old girl has.”

During the interrogation, the killer coldly informed investigators that the child was already deceased before he placed her in his truck to dump her body.

DNA evidence has linked the driver to the crime, further dismantling the lies he initially told to authorities.

The protection of our children and the sanctity of life are non-negotiable pillars of a civilized nation.

Americans must stand firm in demanding that those who commit such atrocities face the fullest extent of the law.

Americans deserve better.
