New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani labeled an anti-Islam protest outside his mansion as “rooted in bigotry and racism” after two suspects threw improvised explosive devices at attendees.

Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi were arrested for the ISIS-inspired attack, yet Mamdani focused more on condemning protesters than the terrorism.
