Should People Pay Their Own Student Loans?

Here’s the Scoop

President Joe Biden is reportedly nearing a final decision on student loan debt forgiveness.

The latest iteration of his plan would forgive $10,000 of federal student loan debt per borrower.

Some Democratic lawmakers say it’s not enough and urge the president to forgive $50,000 per borrower.

Meanwhile, Republican lawmakers say that any amount of student loan forgiveness is too much.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called it an “absurd fiscal policy that will make inflation worse.”

What do you think? Should people just pay their own student loans? Let us know with your vote!
