Florida delivered a bruising rushing attack that stunned the heavily favored Rebels of Ole Miss in Gainesville.

The Gators came out firing, putting points on the board early and never looking back.

Jadan Baugh broke the scoring open with a short touchdown run, and kicker Patrick Durkin added the extra point plus a field goal to give Florida an early lead.

Ole Miss managed only a pair of field goals in the first half.

Baugh punched in another rushing score before halftime, sending the Gators into the locker room up 17-6.

Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss answered with a rushing touchdown, but Duke Clark responded with another score for the Gators.

Florida racked up 302 rushing yards, with both Baugh and Clark topping 100 yards, marking the first time two Gators accomplished that feat in the same game since 2022.

The Gators pulled away in the fourth quarter behind their only passing touchdown of the day, finishing with another impressive offensive showing.

Florida has scored more than 50 points in every game but one this season.

The lone exception came last week against Auburn when they still managed 44 points.

This win marked Florida’s first victory over a top-five opponent since defeating Georgia in 2020, guaranteeing major movement in the polls.

The Gators now prepare for Missouri while Ole Miss looks to regroup against Vanderbilt.
