Trump Was Right Again As Senate Holdout Gets Exposed On Daylight Saving Fight
Liberty Check
- Constitutional conservatives demand an end to the federal overreach that forces states into arbitrary clock changes twice a year.
- Trump correctly identified the economic and health costs of perpetual daylight saving and pushed for permanence years ago.
- Any senator blocking the will of the people is standing in the way of individual liberty and state sovereignty.
President Trump once again proved he was ahead of the curve on daylight saving time.
His recent post exposing a Republican senator’s phone number has intensified pressure on lawmakers who refuse to end the twice-yearly clock changes.
“GET IT DONE”
The post reignited a long-running debate that Trump himself has championed since his first term.
Supporters argue the current system disrupts sleep cycles, costs businesses billions, and serves no legitimate federal purpose.
“It’s time to push back.”
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch…

Statistically, Daylight Savings Time changes is a direct result of heart attacks, and added stress to people’s times. The argument that people don’t want their kids going to school in the dark is laughable: with Daylight Savings Time, kids STILL go to school in the dark, and some get home after dark.
