College Leftists Attack Students Who Condemned Assassination Cake
Liberty Check
- College Republicans face expulsion demands for condemning a student who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s assassination with a cake.
- The DOJ has stepped in after students at the University of Utah demanded punishment for those who exposed the celebration.
- Free speech and constitutional protections are under attack on campus as leftists push to silence dissent.
Campus radicals at the University of Utah have launched an aggressive campaign against two College Republicans who simply posted a photo documenting a student celebrating the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk with a cake.
The backlash has escalated to the point where the Department of Justice is now involved.
Recently, leadership in the @UofUGOP have been waging a campaign of hate against University of Utah students. CDUU condemn online harassment and call on @UUtah to do the same.

The University of Utah wants to EXPEL us over "Threatening or endangering behavior"
This is wrong and an attempt to silence Republican voices.

Don’t celebrate murder. https://t.co/Dq4dMBesD2

The College Republicans were targeted for highlighting the disturbing celebration of political violence.
“This is a clear attempt to intimidate students who stand up against the glorification of murder,” a source close to the situation stated.
University officials are now under pressure to expel the two students for the crime of exposing what happened.
Meanwhile, the student who held the cake celebrating the assassination has faced little to no consequences from the administration.
This double standard exposes the growing intolerance for conservative viewpoints on college campuses across the country.
The DOJ’s involvement signals that federal authorities are taking notice of how universities are weaponizing their disciplinary systems against students who defend constitutional values.
Our freedoms depend on staying vigilant.
