The United States Supreme Court has temporarily allowed the federal government to use the Department of Homeland Security’s Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database to verify voter eligibility.

This decision grants President Donald Trump a victory after a district judge blocked its use.

“The SAVE program represents a critical tool in preserving the integrity of our elections,” a senior administration official stated.

The ruling comes at a time when concerns over non-citizen voting have intensified across multiple states.

“We will continue to fight for the constitutional principle that only American citizens should decide American elections,” the official added.
