Do You Support Trump’s Aggressive Deportation Policy to Make America Safe Again?
Here’s The Scoop
In a bold move to secure America’s borders and uphold the rule of law, the Trump administration has made significant strides in deporting illegal aliens, with over 515,000 deportations since President Donald Trump returned to office in January. This impressive figure is setting the stage for a record-breaking year in the fight against illegal immigration.
Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin shared with Fox News Digital that the administration is on track to deport 600,000 illegal aliens by the end of Trump’s first year back in office. This effort is part of a broader initiative that has seen more than two million illegal aliens leave the U.S., including 1.6 million who have voluntarily self-deported. Additionally, 485,000 illegal aliens have been apprehended by DHS since Trump’s return.
McLaughlin emphasized that this is just the beginning of a renewed focus on border security, stating, “Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem have revitalized an agency that was previously hindered from performing its duties.”
The administration’s tough stance is resonating beyond U.S. borders, with a remarkable 99.99 percent reduction in migration through the Darien Gap, a critical route for migrants heading to the U.S. McLaughlin noted, “Illegal aliens are hearing our message to leave now or face the consequences.”
Despite facing numerous legal challenges from activist judges, ICE, CBP, and the U.S. Coast Guard are making historic progress in fulfilling President Trump’s promise to arrest and deport those who have entered the country illegally.
Amidst the ongoing government shutdown, DHS has continued its crackdown on criminal illegal aliens. Over the weekend, DHS arrested individuals convicted of heinous crimes, including child rape, assault, and kidnapping.
Among those apprehended was Erick Xavier Romero, a Dominican national convicted of child rape in Boston, and German Osvaldo Cortez-Chajon, a Guatemalan national convicted of traveling to meet a child for unlawful sex in Alabama. The list of arrests also includes Graciano Lopez-Flores, a Mexican national convicted of indecent liberties with a child in North Carolina, and several others with serious criminal records.
McLaughlin assured Fox News Digital that the government shutdown would not impede their mission, stating, “Nothing—not even a government shutdown—will slow us down from making America safe again.”
She criticized the Democratic Party for their role in the government shutdown, asserting, “While Democrats in Congress continue to keep the government shutdown, our ICE law enforcement officers aren’t slowing down in arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens.”
As the Trump administration continues its relentless pursuit of border security, it remains clear that the safety and sovereignty of the United States are top priorities.
