Democrats Shift Massive Cash Reserves to Michigan and Maine Races
Liberty Check
- Democrats are pouring millions into Michigan and Maine after abandoning Georgia and North Carolina races they believe are already lost.
- The Senate Majority PAC is redirecting $7 million to prop up struggling candidates in states that were once considered safe Republican territory.
- This move exposes the growing weakness of the Democratic Senate map ahead of the midterms.
Senate Democrats’ top super PAC has shifted nearly seven million dollars into two competitive states after pulling funds from races where Democratic candidates hold comfortable leads. The Senate Majority PAC added 3.7 million dollars to support Democratic Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and three million dollars in Maine to help Democratic Maine Senate nominee Troy Jackson.
The abrupt reallocation of funds signals growing panic within Democratic ranks as traditional battleground states slip away from their grasp. Party strategists are now scrambling to shore up candidates in states that were previously written off as lost causes just weeks ago.
“This is a clear admission that their map is collapsing,” one Republican strategist noted about the sudden spending shift. “They’re throwing good money after bad in states where their candidates are already underwater.”
The timing of this financial maneuver comes as Democrats face mounting pressure to defend seats in states that have trended sharply conservative in recent election cycles. Michigan and Maine were once considered long shots for Republican candidates but have become increasingly competitive.
Americans deserve better.
