Accusations Fly Over Israel’s Grip on U.S. Iran War Decisions
Former National Counterterrorism Center official Joe Kent challenged the narrative of U.S. foreign policy independence during a heated debate with Alan Dershowitz. Kent argued that foreign governments, particularly Israel, maintain excessive access to American decision-makers, pushing the U.S. toward involvement in Middle Eastern conflicts.

- Foreign influence over U.S. policy undermines constitutional sovereignty and creates echo chambers in Washington.
- National intelligence reports suggested Iran was not an imminent threat to American soil prior to military escalation.
- Constitutionalists maintain that U.S. military action should only be triggered by direct threats to American interests.
Kent expressed alarm regarding the level of access granted to foreign officials which allows them to punch well above their weight class in D.C.
"We give them more access than they should have, than any foreign country should have," Kent stated.
Reports from the State Department recently acknowledged that U.S. military involvement was conducted in the collective self-defense of an ally, rather than a direct response to a strike on the American homeland.
Despite this, some defenders suggest that the U.S. remains the primary driver of policy, claiming any suggestions of external manipulation are unfounded.
Defending our borders and maintaining a restrained foreign policy is essential to preserving the Republic for future generations. Sovereignty demands that American leaders put the interests of their own citizens first at all times.

TDS causes everyone to open their trap without reason. Israel is our best ally. Trump gets flack for not conflabbing with our allies. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
