Sanctuary Policies Spark Outrage After Immigrant’s Arrest in Virginia
A Guatemalan illegal alien with 25 prior charges was arrested for the attempted rape of a woman in Arlington, Virginia. Police say 28-year-old Luzvin Orvando Garcia Moran assaulted the victim near a Whole Foods before witnesses intervened.
Moran’s criminal record includes public intoxication, assault and battery, and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer. Despite that history, local sanctuary policies and Governor Abigail Spanberger’s executive orders have limited cooperation with ICE agents.

She questioned how many more innocent victims must suffer before sanctuary politicians prioritize neighborhood safety.
“Virginia’s sanctuary policies allowed this illegal alien to go on a crime spree,” Bis stated.
Evidence from neighboring Fairfax County shows illegal aliens have been responsible for 75 percent of murders in 2026. The refusal to honor ICE detainers continues to erode the rule of law and endanger public safety.
