Jerry Jones Doubles Down on Cowboys Super Bowl Push

Liberty Check

  • Jerry Jones is making aggressive roster moves to restore the Cowboys to championship contention rather than relying on government-backed programs or handouts.
  • The trade for Joey Porter Jr. demonstrates a willingness to invest private capital and draft assets in pursuit of excellence without seeking outside subsidies or bailouts.
  • This approach reflects traditional American values of self-reliance, accountability, and the drive to win through merit and determination.

The Dallas Cowboys are showing they are serious about returning to glory.

Owner Jerry Jones has executed another bold trade, acquiring cornerback Joey Porter Jr. from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for future draft picks. The move signals a clear commitment to bolstering the defense and pushing for a Super Bowl title.

“Here I come … Dallas,” Porter wrote on his Instagram Stories, confirming the deal.

The Cowboys have already allowed an average of 387 yards per game this season, ranking near the bottom of the league. The addition of Porter, who recorded an interception, 52 tackles, and a sack last year, is aimed at shoring up a secondary that has struggled to contain opposing offenses.

Jones has made no secret of his willingness to part with draft capital to reshape the roster. After already trading Micah Parsons last season and acquiring Quinnen Williams, the Cowboys are continuing their aggressive approach to building a contender.

“Now, there’s no excuse,” the report states bluntly.

At 83 years old, Jones remains determined to secure another championship for the franchise. His willingness to make difficult decisions and invest in talent underscores a commitment to winning through merit and performance rather than waiting for circumstances to improve.

The Constitution must be defended.
