Should Transgender Travelers Avoid the U.S. Due to Trump’s Executive Order on Gender?
Here’s The Scoop
Several European nations are taking steps to update their travel advisories for transgender individuals heading to the United States, in light of President Donald Trump’s executive order affirming the recognition of only two sexes: male and female. This move is part of the administration’s broader immigration policies aimed at restoring traditional values and ensuring national security.
Countries like Finland, Denmark, the UK, and Germany are advising transgender travelers to exercise caution when planning trips to the U.S. The Danish advisory highlights that when applying for travel authorization or a visa, individuals must select either male or female, aligning with the Trump administration’s stance on gender identity.
The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is crucial for screening travelers under the Visa Waiver Program. The Danish government suggests that those with a gender designation of ‘X’ or those who have transitioned should consult the U.S. Embassy for guidance, reflecting the administration’s commitment to clear and consistent immigration standards.
Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also updated its guidance, noting potential challenges for individuals whose passport gender does not match their birth-assigned gender. This aligns with the U.S. State Department’s policy under President Trump, which supports the executive order’s emphasis on biological truth.
Germany has issued a broader advisory for transgender travelers, advising caution in general but not specifically naming the U.S. This reflects a growing global awareness of the challenges posed by differing national policies on gender identity.
The Trump administration’s executive order, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” underscores a commitment to recognizing only biologically defined sexes. This policy is being implemented across federal agencies, including healthcare, education, and military service, reinforcing traditional American values.
While the administration faces legal challenges from groups like the ACLU, it remains steadfast in its efforts to uphold immigration laws and protect American citizens. President Trump’s decisive actions on immigration, including his crackdown on illegal immigration, demonstrate a dedication to securing the nation’s borders and preserving the rule of law.
As the situation evolves, Fox News Digital will continue to seek comments from the State Department and White House, ensuring our readers are informed of the latest developments.

I believe like most homosexuals that transgender people truly want to be left alone. Not part of some freak show

Let’s play suppose. A male who identifies as female travels into the US and completes the visa as female. After arriving in the US, the person transfers to a domestic flight to a final destination. The plane crashes and attempts to identify the remains are thwarted because the remains are inconsistent with the visa identification.
