Are You in Favor of Mail-In Ballots?

Here’s The Scoop

In a troubling revelation that underscores the ongoing concerns about the integrity of mail-in voting, an 81-year-old Illinois man, George, was astounded to find a mail-in ballot for his deceased wife in his mailbox. George, who resides in Kane County, about 50 miles west of Chicago, had already shown election officials his wife’s death certificate. Yet, despite assurances that she was removed from the voter rolls, he received another ballot addressed to her.

This incident is not an isolated case. Voters from crucial swing states have shared similar stories, fueling concerns about the reliability of mail-in voting systems. Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project, highlighted that voter roll inaccuracies are a widespread issue across the country, affecting the integrity of our elections.

George’s ordeal began during the 2022 midterms when he was told he couldn’t vote in person due to a pending mail-in ballot he never requested. After a lengthy process involving voiding ballots and presenting a death certificate, he finally managed to cast his vote. George, a long-time Illinois resident, insists he never opted for mail-in voting and prefers to vote in person, raising questions about why ballots are being sent indiscriminately.

Kane County Clerk John Cunningham assured that signature verification would prevent fraudulent votes, but he couldn’t explain how George’s deceased wife received a ballot. This incident, coupled with similar stories from Arizona, where voters have received ballots for individuals no longer residing in the state, points to systemic flaws.

In Arizona, despite laws meant to maintain voter list accuracy, ballots continue to be sent to outdated addresses. Former residents and their families have repeatedly returned these ballots, yet the problem persists. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office claims to have removed over 400,000 voters from rolls under current maintenance practices, but the continued issues suggest more rigorous measures are needed.

The timing of these revelations is critical, with just over a month until the election. Recent blunders, such as the 2,215 duplicate ballots sent out in Madison, Wisconsin, have only heightened scrutiny. Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) has called for an independent investigation into the Madison incident, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability.

In Pennsylvania, the Republican National Committee has filed a lawsuit against Montgomery County for allegedly bypassing required accuracy tests before sending out ballots, further illustrating the potential for error and misuse in mail-in voting.

Former President Donald Trump has consistently voiced concerns about mail-in voting, warning of the potential for fraud. He has advocated for changes to the system, including same-day voting, to ensure election security.

As these issues come to light, it is imperative for voters to remain vigilant and report any irregularities. If you have experienced problems with mail-in ballots, we encourage you to reach out through our tip line. Your voice is crucial in safeguarding our electoral process.

One of my sons that lives in Georgia was told he had already voted four years ago when appearing in person to vote. He had to prove who he was which was no problem with a photo driver’s license! However, if it happens again he will make sure the “news” gets all the info as it happened!

This 90 year old would much rather mail in my ballot. I already have mailed it. Much better than standing in line in the polling place.

They did not send a ballot for my late wife.

It is needed Only for handicapp and older people who can’t get there. I think they could work it out so that they would do it with a notary or an official person? Just so both parties are represented.

People like myself who have health problems need the mail-in option. You have to supply your driver’s license number on the application and it is verified before a ballot us sent. EVERY vote should count whether you stand in line, use a drop box of mail. Republicans should get over it!

You miss the point! Like lot of old dumb democrats supporters you just do not know what going on. You just check every box for DEMOCRAT! It a shame you vote! No I’m not a republican not even a Democrat supporter. I’m independent voter and yes, I listen to both side! But the last 30 years all I saw was how democrats politicians are destroying the country. If you didn’t know that! Stop voting! Since Clinton everything democrats politicians voted on has over 10 million dollars of PORK MONEY IN THE BILLS! None of it going to the ECONOMY OR THE PEOPLE! BUT GOING TO THOSE CORP THAT HOLD THE MONEY TIL THE NEXT ELECTION YEARS! LIKE PLANNED PARENTHOODS! WHAT DOES THIS ORGANIZATION DO TO HELP THE ECONOMY? IS IT BY KILLING BABY SO THE POPULATION CAN’T GROW AMERICAN CITIZEN? Maybe if you knew the truth you would stop supporting democrats politicians that SUPPORT FOREIGN GOVERNMENT!

Yes, but only for the people it was intended for!!!
Older, handicapped people who can’t get there, or stand in line, and military personnel who are over seas during an election.

If I were a dominant person (I’m not) in a household that might have several family members and others living there, if you don’t think I could collect all the mail-in ballots for the household and mark them however I wanted, then you don’t know how the real world works. Do you see the possibility for a little corruption going on there? And multiply that for a few hundred or a few thousand households and consider the consequences, especially in a close election.

Only mail in ballots should be those that are requested. Then it should only be for a valid reason. Handicapped, hospitalized, elderly. I am 77 and will not do mailin ballots. In Missouri we have 2 weeks of early voting at designated places. So there are no long lines. And we show our ID. And only registered US citizens should be allowed to vote.

IN PERSON ONLY AND NO NO EARLY VOTING BY ANY ONE

Mail in ballots are unnecessary. Older people can apply for an absentee ballot. This scam is the Democrat Party’s answer to winning elections. Look at 2020. Their newest scam is registering the illegal immigrants they let in from the border, which was the sole purpose of that endeavor. Unless we can make the Mainstream Fake News Media accountable, we have a tough row to hoe. The best solution is to expend whatever it takes to win this election so we can fix these problems the Democrats have created. This is a coup, plain and simple. These people should be in jail.

Mail in ballots are another way the democrats cheat to beat Donald Trump. Another sign of a Socialist government.

How TRUE! Before I got smart & changed parties, they would send
Me postcards which stated, “When Dems vote by mail, Dems win.”
So I agree, it should only be the disabled, Elderly & Sick to send in absentee ballots.
NO MAIL IN BALLOTS! If you don’t want to stand in line, do early voting. At least you’re going to your designated voting pole.

If you’re disabled and unable to get to the polls or to withstand waiting in line, yes. If you’re out of town for your job, yes. Otherwise, get your lazy can up off the couch and go to the polls like a true American!
