The latest poll from Suffolk University/USA Today has revealed a startling premonition from the American populace. They predict, with a 65% majority, that former President Donald Trump will be found guilty in the ongoing trial, an unparalleled event in our nation’s history.
Trump stands accused of falsifying business records in relation to the 2016 election payments made to Stormy Daniels, a claim he continuously denies. This accusation, alongside the alleged sexual encounter with Daniels, forms the backbone of the charges against him.
As Daniels took the witness stand earlier this week, the poll indicated that 50% anticipate a partial conviction for Trump. A meager 15% foresee a full conviction, while a sturdy 23% maintain his innocence.
David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, warns that public opinion may not mirror that of the jury. This trial is not just about Trump; it’s about the public’s perception of justice and fairness.
Speaking of fairness, 44% of those polled believe the trial has been skewed against Trump, with 39% asserting its fairness and 16% undecided. This notion of fairness seems to split along party lines.
Trump himself has been vocal about the perceived unfairness of his trial, criticizing prosecutors, the judge, and witnesses. His outspokenness earned him a contempt ruling from New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, who warned of potential jail time for continued violations of the gag order.
Trump’s defense argues that the gag order infringes on First Amendment rights, creating yet another contentious point in this high-stakes trial. Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign efforts for the 2024 election against President Biden have been hampered by the proceedings.

I sure hope not–however with the corrupt judge and the corrupt DA and the corrupt Soros money-who knows. Just think people–if someone as powerful as trump can be tried for non legal things- the rest of us are doomed. With the corrupt Dumocratic party our USA is going to be lost–unless people grow a backbone and leave the corrupt dumocratic party. I really don’t think they will like living under communism. Due process applies to everyone. That means Everyone. You don’t get to pick and choose.

Let’s start with Jan 6th. He incited a riot in the Capitol Building by screaming “Hang Mike Pence!” The Secret Service had to prevent him from going with them! So he sat in his office watching the riot and eating potato chips and cheering the rioters on! Nine people died as a result of that riot! TRUMP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR DEATHS! He should have been on trial already for this! Trump is a moron. He does not know how to run his family let alone our country!
